End of Term - Chairman's Report

Another eventful season is now drawing to a close but before we start preparing for 2010/11,there are 2 dates for your diary that I wish to remind you about:
CRFC AGM
Tuesday June 8th @ 7.30

CRFC Funday/BBQ
Sunday July 18th @ 1.00 til 5.00
Velmead Community Centre
I am again indebted to all those who have lent so much support over the course of the season.
Its so important that we play as a team off the field as well as on it and to that end we continue to make progress in several key areas be it securing playing and training pitches,website upgrades,ground improvements or financial security etc.
Thank you to all those who braved a very warm afternoon in the Main Hall at Courtmoor.
I was delighted to see so many friendly faces whose enthusiasm contributed to make it so enjoyable for the boys.
Congratulations to all those that won awards, whether they team or club specific and congratulations to those boys that have completed their 10 years of service - Sam Williams, Will Ross and David Colfer.
There are always things we can do to improve this and other Club events and all the Managers will happily listen to new ideas and suggestions, as I've always maintained this is YOUR football club!
I would like to take this opportunity of saying a big thank you to all players, parents and supporters who helped make my tenure as Chairman over the last 5 years so much fun.
The team has achieved a lot but there’s still a lot of hard work ahead.
To that end I am pleased to confirm that I hope to work even closer with a newly formed committee at Cody but most importantly you should feel comforted that you have a fantastic group of Managers at the helm and I am absolutely convinced that under the stewardship of a new Chair, this Club will continue to grow in strength and character.
