Crookham Rovers Awards evening

Crookham Rovers awards evening was held on the evening of Thursday May 8th at Court Moor School, Fleet. The awards were presented by Jason Pearce, formerly of Court Moor School but who is currently with AFC Bournemouth. A few moments were spent as Clive Tyldesley interviewed Jason, who reflected on his earlier career and offered some wise advice to the future stars at Crookham Rovers.

The evening was split into two sessions, with the younger boys up to the u11 age group receiving their awards first before it was all change for the second session and the older boys. Each player received a trophy for representing the club. Additionally three players from each team were awarded special trophies - the Manager's player of the year, the Clubman of the year (nominated by the parents), and the award that is most highly prized - the player's player of the year trophy.

There were a total of 17 teams representing Crookham Rovers in the 2007-08 season, with teams covering all standards of ability.

The club treasurer, Phil duGay was given a special award for services to the club.
