"Respect" is the Football Association's programme to "...combat unacceptable behaviour in our game at every level - on the pitch and from the sidelines."
The Respect programme includes four practical steps to improve behaviour on and off the pitch:
- Codes of conduct for players, parents, spectators, coaches and referees
- Designated spectator areas
- Captain's responsibility for player behaviour
- Referees managing the game and applying the laws of the game
