21.01.12 Warriors 2 v 3 Cove Tigers 11:30 Abercorn League more info
Another close fought battle against a strong Cove side. The Warriors only had 11 players with Jacob also playing with a sore leg. Cove started the match strong but the Warriors had the better of the half going one up after Ethan struck a great right foot shot from a free kick. Soon after Cameron had a solo run down the left hand side and calmly slotted the ball home. Cove got a goal back after Tom thought he was pushed in the back, but the referee did not see it! The second half saw The Warriors playing with 10 and 9 players at times with Jacob and Ethan nursing injuries. The 'Walking Wounded' bravely battle on as they get a free kick on the edge of Cove's area. Unfortunately Dylans shot is blocked. With a minute left Cove equalise controversially as Matthew accidentally gets pushed in the face, again the referee plays on as Cove score. At this point both sides are certain the match will end in a draw, which would of been the fair result. But football is not always fair! After 5 to 6 minutes of extra time Cove get the winner, and the referee blows for full time straight from the kick off. A huge well done to the whole team for great commitment. Goals: Ethan (20) Cameron(21)The MOM and Effort Awards were given to the whole team.

17.12.11 Warriors 6 v 5 Curley Park Trojans 10:30 Abercorn League more info
The Warriors agreed to play with 10 players as Curley Park only brought 10 to the match. We figured our subs could prove to be an advantage at a later stage. The Warriors never really came out of the blocks in the first half and could not get into any stride. Curley Park played well and had many shots and chances. They scored 4 goals and apart from Dylan getting one back, the Warriors could only manage 1 shot all half! Things needed to change? The Warriors started the 2nd half strongly but against the run of play,Curley Park score again.5-1, is there any way back? The Warriors improve and chances start to come their way. Dylan scores again, and soon after is brought down for a penalty. He scores his hatrick and soon after hits 2 more after some excellent composed finishing. 10 minutes to play and Jake cuts in from the right and scores from a right footed shot to put us 6-5 ahead. The Warriors hang on for a remarkable come back and an excellent display of team work and determination. MOM-Dylan. Effort Awards-Matty & Robert. Goals-Dylan (mins 23,38-pen,41,44,50) Jake (51) Jake's goal and the win are dedicated to his grandad.

Match postponed due frozen pitch
03.12.11 Chiddingfold 3 v 3 Warriors 10:30 Chiddingfold GU84QP League more info
This was an odd match as the pitch was a three quarter size with smaller goals. The boys found it hard to get going and the consequences of a small pitch meant it became very congested. Chiddingfold had the better of the first half and went in at half time 1-0 up from a free kick just outside the area. The second half saw us kicking down hill with the bright sun on our back. Straight away you could see the boys wanted to score and had the better chances. Eventually from an excellent corner from Jules, the ball went in off a defender. Not long after Robert fires in but Chiddingfold score to even things up. Another attack and Dylan's shot just crosses the line before Jake pokes it in. Unfortunately Chiddingfold get another free kick just outside the area and score. Final score 3-3 and well done to the boys for playing till the end, and the fact they had 10 corners goes to show their attacking qualities. GOALS: OG, Robert, Dylan. MOM-Maxim, Effort Award-Liam
26.11.11 Warriors 3 v 4 Headley Youth Vipers 10:00 Abercorn League more info
A closely contested match, The Warriors started the game well and soon got into their stride. A great through ball by Marco to Dylan who rounded the goal keeper and calmly puts the ball in the net. More chances follow but The Warriors couldn't find the target. Headley get an equaliser before half time after an error on our part. The second half saw Dylan score a second, but again,Headley equalise. The Warriors have more chances but fail to score until Jules fires in from the right. 3-2 with 10 minutes left, what else can happen!!! Headley get a penalty for a lame challenge but miss (is this going to be our day?) Warriors defend but Headley scramble the ball in to equalise for a third time. With a minute to go Headley press on and again the Warriors can't clear the danger. They score a winner just before the final whistle. A good effort but more concentration needed right till the end of the match. GOALS: Dylanx2, Jules, MOM: Dylan, Effort Award: Dan & Jules
19.11.11 Manor Colts Green 1 v 3 Warriors 09:30 Alton GU34 1RF League more info
Everyone turned up early as it was the debut of our new away kit, kindly sponsored by Waterfords. The fog was quite thick and we were worried that the match may not go ahead. Brendan brought some Waterfords boards and photos were taken. The boys played an excellent match working hard and never giving up. This was highlighted in the second half when Manor Colts went one up, after a counter attack and a good near post finish. Three subs were made and straight away an equaliser was scored by Jake after coming close with other chances. With new momentum two more goals quickly followed by Marco and Jules, and the Warriors ended the match the better side. We also welcomed a new signing, Maxim, who played in midfield and defence. Well done and keep it up. GOALS: Jake, Marco, Jules MOM-Jules. Effort Award-Jake
05.11.11 Warriors 0 v 11 Rushmoor Saints Boys 09:30 Abercorn Cup more info
League Cup, 2nd Round. This was always going to be a tough match, playing against the current leaders or the premiership, who have only lost one game this season. We also welcomed an ex player, Omar and his mum and grandad who played and supported us well in past years. Our aim was to defend with discipline and try and catch Rushmoor on the break. The boys stuck to the game plan and all played very well, but Rushmoor were a very accomplished passing side and had most of the possesion. The continual pressure was always going to result in us conceding some goals. We only managed 4 shots at their goal, one of which we should of scored. But overall a good effort and hopefully the boys have learnt something from watching the other team. MOM-Liam, Effort-Tom

This was a great battle between two evenly matched sides. The score got to 4-4 and could of gone either way, but the Warriors kept battling and hit three late goals to seal the win. Memorable match moments were Marco getting a hatrick and Dylan and Robert scoring amazing long range goals! Goal Scorers: Marco 3. Dylan 2. Jules 1. Robert 1. GOALS-Marcox3, Dylanx2, Jules, Robert. Hampshire Cup, 2nd Round. Goals: Dylan 2 Ethan 1. MOM-Dylan. Effort Award-Jack A tough match against last seasons premier champions! The Warriors started the match the better side and scored the first goal, but after 15 minutes of 'domination' the Liphook superiority took over. The Warriors never gave up, a good effort by all.

A very close match which could of gone either way! A great effort by all the boys to come back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 with 10 minutes to play. Cove were a strong physical side and also had chances. Special mention for Dylan for scoring two solo goals from the half way line, and Liam in goal for some spectacular and brave saves. Goals: Dylan-32min Dylan-48min. MOM: Liam. Effort Award: Dylan
17.09.11 Warriors 4 v 4 Chiddingfold 10:30 Abercorn League more info
A GAME OF TWO HALVES!! The warriors started their first league match very strongly. Dylan opened the scoring after 2 minutes with a right foot shot which looped over the keeper. Then on 10 minutes Dylan was through again, this time the Chiddingfold keeper made a fine save, which fell to Marco who tapped in the rebound. Then Cameron was`awarded a penalty after being pushed in the box, but unfortunately put the spot kick wide. He soon made up for it on 17 minutes after heading a goal in from a Jules corner. Then after 25 minutes Jules scored with a right foot shot, after a great run down the right. Chiddingfold get a goal back just before half time after a mix up in the Warrior's defence. We have decided to forget about the second half which saw the Warriors fall to pieces and concede three goals. Lesson learnt, lets keep playing like the first half! GOALS: DYLAN, MARCO, CAMERON, JULES
